Alix Pearlistein the first visiting artist

I was not able to make it to this lecture but I was able to look up information on her on the interenet. Her work makes me think of people that dont take art seriously anymore. Looking at her videos just confused me and all i could think is she serious? I really did not find any of her stuff as true art. I see people goofing off and being weird when looking at the videos. What she did was not out of the box or different was just trying so hard to stand out that you just end up making your self look stupid. She needs to work on the point of her work what shes trying to get across because I am not getting it all. I am just left with bewilderment and confusion with her.
